Is The Local Harvest UK-only?

For now, yes. We list British producers serving British customers. We may expand to Ireland and parts of Europe in future.

Are all producers verified?

Every producer goes through admin review before they appear in the directory. We check business name, address, contact details and any certifications they claim. We do not personally inspect farms.

How fresh is the produce?

That depends on the producer. Most stock is harvested within days of order. Each product page shows availability and lead time set by the producer.

Can I order from multiple producers in one checkout?

Each producer is paid via Stripe Connect, so checkouts are per-producer. You can have items from different producers in your basket and check out from each.

What happens if my order arrives damaged or short?

Contact the producer first β€” most resolve issues quickly. If they do not respond within 48 hours, contact us at hello@thelocalharvest.co.uk and we will help mediate.

Can I leave reviews?

Yes. After an order is marked delivered you can rate the producer and the products. Reviews appear on producer profiles to help future shoppers.

Do you sell our data to anyone?

No. We never sell personal data. We share what we must with our processors (Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Google Maps) to make the platform work. See our privacy policy for the full list.
